Girls, on behalf of all men, I apologize.
I feel the need to apologize because my gender has not been on its best behavior. Sure guys will let girls know when they are attractive, but it’s more like, “Damn, girl!” That’s what Prince Charming said to Sleeping Beauty, wasn’t it? Guys have fallen off of their white horse and kicked it to the mud. The knight-in-shining-armor is about as rare as they come.
The moment guys start calling girls “bitches” and “pieces of ass” is when the childhood dream of little Susie dies. Girls spend their youngest years watching the Beast turn into a prince, but the reality is a lot of guys are simply Beasts. There is no curse. Now that little Susie has grown up, her motto is, “Guys suck.” Her perception of men has been ruined by one guy, that’s all it takes.
One man can spoil a woman’s expectations for the rest of her life. She may even give up hope and lower her standards; restricting herself to only date jerks. That is not right. Women should not have to lower themselves to accommodate the fast decline of decency in men.
I almost feel reluctant in saying men. The only thing that makes them men is what lies between their legs. A real man would not have to take advantage of a girl who has had a little too much. A real man should never make a woman feel uncomfortable. Where did the John Waynes, Frank Sinatras and Ernest Hemingways go? They were real men.
Yeah, they drank themselves into a liver-less existence and of course they were womanizers, but I doubt Sinatra ever said, “I’m gonna hit that tonight.” If he did, he was probably talking about knocking off a mob boss. Does anyone else remember the scene where John Wayne punches the drunken slob, who is being rude? It happened in almost all of his movies. Our society could use a few more of those rogue gentlemen, and less of the bastards.
I’m sure the boy thinks he is being Rico Suave by telling the girl to turn around so he can see what God gave her. The girls who turn around and show them are at fault, too. They have showed him and the rest of his buddies that kind of talk works. If it works once, it should work again, right?
That is the mentality that keeps this problem circular. It will not end until the women stand up and say no. The more girls just chalk it off to boys-will-be-boys, the more they will continue until it is the norm.
What keeps me from acting like a fool is my family. Would I want my mom or sister treated this way? The day I have a daughter is the day I am buying a gun and a shovel. If this trend continues we could see men’s brains overtaken by the testosterone and penis coalition. Soon there will be zombie-like men grabbing and hollering at anything that walks by. Good luck, ladies. I tried to warn you.
