Casey Anthony pleads “not guilty” to the charges of first-degree murder of her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Little Caylee went missing in early June and was not reported missing until her grandmother called 911 a month later.
During that month, the mother of a missing child acted like anything but; she went on shopping sprees with stolen checks, frequented nightclubs with her boyfriend, and even got a new tattoo.
To be fair, the case hasn’t been solved yet. So for me to come out and say, “Casey Anthony is a cold, heartless whore of a woman and should be burned at the stake,” would be unfair. But when am I ever fair?
Casey has too much mounting evidence against her for me not to jump to conclusions. DNA evidence says the decaying remnants of a human body that were found in Casey’s trunk are, in fact, that of Caylee Anthony. Case over.
It doesn’t matter if she physically ended the life of her own flesh and blood. Her actions while her daughter was missing are enough for me to label her guilty. I know that if my child ever goes missing, a new tattoo will definitely make me feel better. I’m sure all the visits to the club were more like support groups with booze.
Millions of couples around the world are spending their nights praying and crying because they want a child to love more than anything. There are gay, straight and single people everywhere who could have brought little Caylee up to realize her dreams. Instead, her mother felt that her social life (in jail) was more important than the life of a child. A child!
I hope they give her the death penalty. This woman does not deserve to be a part of the human race. She should be stripped of her soul, if it still exists. I’m not one to call for the death of anyone or anything, but to do something as unthinkable as murdering your own child shows you are so messed up, even Freud couldn’t help you.
Every responsible parent in America should be screaming for this woman to be convicted because she has desecrated the sanctity of motherhood. Think of little Caylee, with all of the hope and wonder of the world in her eyes, looking up at her mom, the giver of live and provider of love, as she is ending her life. You’ll have to excuse me while I throw up.
My mind cannot comprehend this. That is why this story has had Americans tuning in to Nancy Grace on Headline News every night to get the new breaks in the case. It is why the nation was glued to their seats for the Jon Benet case, and the same goes for this new son of a meth dealer who was kidnapped. None of us can begin to understand what would drive a human to do this to their child. We want to know why, and the basic fact is we will never know. We can never know what snaps in these people’s head unless we have snapped ourselves.
