Beta Alpha Psi -Zeta Epsilon Chapter finds success at regionals

Members of Beta Alpha Psi -Zeta Epsilon Chapter attended the Southwest Regional Conference on Friday, March 6 through Saturday, March 7, held at the Omni Mandalay in Las Colinas.

The event was hosted by the University of Louisiana at Monroe Eta Sigm Chapter. The Zeta Epsilon chapter of Beta Alpha Psi won first place in the Team Dynamics competition presented by Alex Miller at the Regional Conference

This is a large achievement for the chapter, but even greater since there were approximately 20 schools total competing, including the University of Texas at Austin and the University of North Texas. There were also representatives from New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

In addition, A&M-Commerce was one of the few to present in two different student presentation workshop series centering around Being Good Campus/Community Citizens and Motivating Chapter Members to Remain Active.

The A&M-Commerce chapter was also announced as one of about five institutions that had 10 or more members present at the conference.

“We feel this gave TAMU-C a very positive presence at the regional’s and was very energizing and motivating for the BAP students as well. We all came away with great ideas and aspirations to see BAP continue to grow and be a force at future meetings, including Nationals. If you see any of the students, please offer them your congratulations for their success and professionalism at the Regional Meeting,” Gabriela Salas, a member of the chapter said.
