The Club in The Sam Rayburn Student Center showed Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen for the second day of homecoming week on Oct. 6.
Blue and gold balloons decorated The Club, and Homecoming T-shirts and tickets were sold. There were 14 screens showing the movie.
Students in attendance varied by being in groups, alone or to represent an organization.
“I’m hanging out with my sisters tonight,” freshman photography major Shiloh Burney said. “I also think it’s a success, it’s brought a lot of students together.”
Close to 100 students attended the event.
“I think there is a great turn out,” junior business management major Devin White Jr. said. “A lot of effort was put in to this event. From picking the movie, to setting up enough seating for everyone, to combining with the Homecoming Committee to make is a success.” White Jr. said.
Homecoming events will be continued threw the week until Saturday Oct. 10.
