“Homecoming is a great opportunity for alumni to return to campus to reconnect with old friends and faculty and witness the transformation that is occurring,” Peace said. “This year the committee has focused on developing events that will increase awareness and student participation in the on-campus events. Overall, we anticipate a week of activity that allows us to exhibit our school spirit, reflect on the past, and appreciate the present.”
The homecoming parade will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the tailgate party from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Morris Recreation Center lawn. The A&M-Commerce football game against Texas A&M University-Kingsville starts at 2 p.m.
