Outdoor Adventure’s bike maintenance workshop has been rescheduled for next week due to severe weather conditions. The event is an opportunity for Texas A&M University-Commerce students to learn about simple repairs to keep their bikes in working order.
Students who planned to attend the workshop were disappointed to see the sudden push back, but understand that it was in their best interest.
“I don’t blame them for pushing it back a week,” freshman Cameron Smith said. “With all this rain, I wouldn’t want to be out there fixing bikes either. Chances are most people won’t be riding bikes with this weather anyway, so I think it’s a good thing.”
The director for Outdoor Adventure, Todd Grier was not reachable for a statement as of press time.
