In this latest romantic comedy, Jennifer Garner pairs up with Timothy Olyphant. Jennifer Garner stars as Gray Wheeler who has just lost her fiancé, three days before her wedding. The three friends of her fiancé are there to comfort her during her loss at least until they all decide to compete for her attention.

Timothy Olyphant, who also played in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, stars as one of the three friends and the person who ends up winning Jennifer Garner’s love.

This film is not as light-hearted as the previews make it seem but it does have some funny parts and romance throughout it, especially when Smith is onscreen.

One of the more entertaining aspects of the film is when Kevin Smith walks through the room while Garner and Olyphant are cuddled up together kissing. Of course, Smith never even realizes this fact and goes back to finding his midnight snack. Meanwhile Garner and Olyphant quickly untangle themselves and Garner sneaks back to her room.

Even though this film does have a serious tone, it still qualifies as a romantic comedy. The benefit of this movie having a more serious aspect to is that it is not as sappy which makes it a more enjoyable movie for guys.

The acting in this film is good, especially Kevin Smith’s character who plays a very believable role as the nice guy. The lead stars also add to this film by having great on-screen chemistry.

As far as the plot goes, it is for the most part, very predictable, though the serious aspects of the film do add more dimensions to it.

Overall, this movie is just a great romantic comedy that has a bit more seriousness to it. If you are looking for a great date movie, this is definitely one not to miss and is well worth the price of an evening show.
