Homecoming activities set

Texas A&M University-Commerce will “Ride with Pride” for this year’s homecoming activities, which begin next week.

“Homecoming is historically a magical time in the life of the university,” Alumni Relations Director Derryle Peace said. “It is a time when alumni return to campus to reconnect with friends, faculty and staff and reminisce of times gone by.”

New to this year’s activities is a Homecoming Parade on Saturday morning – the first since 1991. The 11 a.m. parade begins at the Science Building and ends tailgate on the West Lawn.

“The Homecoming Committee has resurrected the parade that is scheduled prior to the tailgate party on Saturday morning,” Peace said. “You don’t want to miss this Homecoming!”
