Diversity director’s vehicle vandalized

Office of Diversity and Cultural Affairs Director Robert Dotson’s vehicle was vandalized Oct. 2 in the Halladay Student Services Building parking lot.

According to police reports, both doors on the driver’s side had been keyed. The damage was estimated at $3,000.

Texas A&M University – Commerce Police Department is conducting an on-going investigation of the incident. In addition, Dotson is offering a reward to anyone who can help identify the individual or individuals who caused the damage and leads to criminal charges or university sanctions.

Dotson is taking more safe guards in the area of personal protection, and said, “This incident will not keep me from doing my job and acting as an agent of the University.”
