An elderly man was found dead in the James Gee library around 8 p.m. Feb. 3.
The man, identified as 70-year-old Commerce resident Murrell Hogue Jr., was found collapsed in a chair connected to a computer station. The University Police Department, the Commerce Fire Department and Hunt Country Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident.
Hunt Country EMS transported Hogue to Hunt Regional Community Hospital where he was declared deceased.
