Leasor takes title at Lions tourney

The Lions men's golf team hosted the annual Lion Invitational Oct. 31-Nov. 1, in The Colony, Texas and their A team posted 5^th overall with a score of 584 (8 over). Though the Lions could not take the team victory, sophomore Chris Leasor managed to take home best individual score with 134 (10 under). A&M-Commerce's B team finished 11^th out of 11 with a score of 632 (56 over).

Freshman Marcus Sanna finished second on the A team with a score of 148 (4 over), tying him for 26^th place individually. Sophomore Patrick Russo tied for 34^th with 150 (6 over) while freshman Derek Rucki placed 42^nd with a score of 152 (8 over). Freshman Jarret Martin finished off the A team in 50^th place with a score of 160 (16 over).

Freshman Kyle Middleton topped the B team tied for 30^th with 149 (5 over) and freshman Cade Grimm tied for 34^th with 150 (6 over). Sophomore John Moug finished 57^th with 166 (22 over) and freshman Brett Bradshaw finished out the B team with 167 (23 over).
