A&M-Commerce head coach Sam Walker on tonights game: "I felt like when we played good defense we controlled the game. When we didn't play good defense, we didn't have that intensity and allowed them to do the types of things they wanted to do. Defensively we try to make people feel uncomfortable and disrupt a little bit of timing. I thought we did that most of the game, and as we continue to get a little more consistency in what we do, we'll be a better team and we'll be able to hold on to leads a little bit better."
Leading Scorer Brian Singleton about the game: "My teammates got me open, gave me some good shots. They knew I had the hot hand at the time, so they just fed me. The home crowd was excellent. A lot of people, more than I expected, I love them. They were supportive tonight."
